June 27, 2008 - Cactus & Ivy has
added "Raves & Reviews" to the site. You can read
testimonials from individuals to Spa Owners, as well as reviews
written from professional organizations that have put our
products to the test for all consumers. If you would like
to add your feedback, please email to

June 12, 2008 - Cactus & Ivy has replaced
Marula Oil with Babassu Oil in our Body, Bath & Massage Elixirs,
due to the enormous difficulty in sourcing Marula Oil.
Babassu Oil is derived
from the seeds of the babassu palm, which grows in the
Amazon region of South America. It is high in lauric and
myristic acids and contains 70% lipids. These acids have
melting points that are close to the human body temperature so,
when applied, babassu oil draws the heat from the skin to
initiate melting. It is an effective emollient to soften and
soothe skin.
April 1, 2008 - Cactus & Ivy is seen on
StyleBakery.com as one of the designers on the rise promotion.

March 13, 2008 - Cactus & Ivy added African
Black Soap to our line of products. In Togo, black soap is
the only soap used by mothers to wash their newborn babies, as
its purity makes it gentle and non-drying for their sensitive
skin. Our black soap is produced in small batches by hand,
using age-old traditional techniques and made in Togo from pure
virgin oils following fair trade and organic guidelines.
September 25, 2007 - Our logo was one (1) of eight (8)
logos designed by Logo Design Guru that was awarded the prestigious
American Graphic Design Award in the 2007 competition. Read more
